what is the difference nutrionally

bulking mode.

eating the flax seeds is difficult as they are such a fine-grain and hard to swallow without cold water .

whats the purpose of either of these anyways in a bulking diet / how much per day

please advise

Flax seeds are what flaxseed oil is made of, so you can use either in your diet. However, flax seeds are hard to eat and hard to measure out specifically how much fat you need / get. You can try flaxseed meal (flaxplus) it's a dry form of the flax seeds you can put in your oatmeal, tastes nutty - very good addition to oatmeal.
 
Your body cannot process the flax seeds whole - they will pass right thru....you need to grind them up or buy flax meal/oil....
 
I finally found a place with flax seeds and flax meal. A little hippy communal grocery that sells all kinds of health food stuff. Not bad, 1.49lb bulk, I think. They have a member price and then 15% higher for everyone else.

It's called Ever'man Groceries in downtown Pensacola. Those of you that winter in Gulf Shores, head east on Perdido Key Road and follow Gulf Beach Highway straight into downtown P'cola. It'll be on your right just past the static train display.
 
Bob's Red Mill is a good national brand to look for if you're having trouble finding places; they're at some regular grocery stores in addition to health/natural places. You can order in bulk at their website and search for local stores that carry their products.
