Folks. . . .how often do you experience this after an intense workout?? Lets just say, I had an incredible workout to the point where I had a date with the Golds Gym parking lot!
It all started out with warming up on seated dumbbell curls. . .30lbs, 40lbs, 50lbs for sets of 10. . .then the big set at 65lbs x 8.
Next, I performed behind the back wrist curls with 135lbs, 155lbs, 165lbs and 175lbs x 10 reps.
stretches. . . . severe bloating in the arm. . major blood flow!!!
Time for some calves 90 x 25, 135 x 20, 165 x 15, then 200 x 8 for an all out set
Finally to legs. . . .the nasty stuff is about to begin.
Stiff leg deadlifts. . . 135 x 10, 225 x 10, 315 x 10, then all out set at 365 x 7 personal record!!!!. . . . I was feeling a little saucy so I stripped it down to 225 and got 25 reps.
By this time I was green!!!
On to leg presses (heavy squats next week)
4pps x 10, 6pps x 10, 8pps x 10, 10pps x 10, 11pps x 8. . .then last set 5pps x 20.
After all of this. . I had to shoot out of the door and hit the curb
. When I came back in my body was shutting down and I couldn't stand up straight, so I layed down on the floor for 10 minutes.
This was the workout. Afterwards, I had to give myself 30 minutes before drinking fluids or eating protein. Since then, I have down nearly a gallon of gatorade and ate 1/b of chicken.
Regardless of the immense intensity, I left the gym feeling satisfied. Next time I will add additional reps and weight.
Has anyone else ever taken their training to the extreme? If so, I would love to hear some stories.
I know for a fact Thaibox, B Fold, Spatts, and C-Ditty have experienced this.
I remember when B Fold lost his lunch in his moms bushes
.
Anyway, I thought I'd share this with you guys and gals.
Keep training hard. . .never sell yourself short of your goals. . .keep pushing hard to succeed!!
