I ate a sub a lil' over an hour ago... it was cawk diesel...

3 whole eggs... not sure how much steak, but it was bulging at the seam, cheese, peppers, a little mayo... the guy goes *in greek accent* something like "This is a lotta meat!!" I go "yup I gotta train in a few hours" he goes "ohhh you go burn it off" ...me "yup" lol :evil:

It was soo good!! :)

A little heavy fueling for today's 2 hour mayhem session :chomp:

WEEK 9 DAY 3

9:08pm after 5th squat set

220.0lbs at the gym

ATF Squat
bar for 8, 100x5, 140x5, 160x2, 195x5, 240x4 (belted..lower back fawked)... hurt like a bitch... layed down for a bit... back felt "100%" at the time then did 1 more rep. ... layed down again... exhausted now on top of it hurting to even bend down to get a drink at the water fountain.
thought i devised a little plan to attack my PR...
315x1 walk out... probably should have done more maybe... walk out felt fine, i dipped a bit just to feel the weight...lol... not ready to squat that yet.
270x1 pr (I completed one... i did 2 ... 1/2 reps ... doesn't count)

Close Grip Bench Press
Bar x 10
100x8
120x8
140x8 (hard :( )
155x8 (felt like my top set)
175x0 ... didn't bother attempting in an empty gym with no spot

90* BB Rows
fawk that... can't even bend over my body weight right now.

Flat DB Bench ... i dunno, felt like i should get more work in.
40's for 8
60's for 8
75's for 8
85's for 6 ... i think that's a pr, lol... exhausted, and not sure if that was a pr or not. Happy with that at least ...


Zero misc " :rainbow: " work tonight.

...kicked out at 10:01pm.

I probably will have eaten close to 7,000 cals today after my next meal... guess food doesn't replace CNS burnout and back fatigue/pain.


... going to ice my back and lay down.


"wtf" about sums up how i'm feeling right now...

Keep your head up sarge. listen to your body, and let it rest. Why not just shut it down on your posterior training for a little bit and push some presses.

Sounds like your lower back is just "tightening up" a bit. It seems to happen alot to everyone and can really fuck with your workout. Nothin' more shitty than to know you can, and want to do the weigh but the lower back is so tight that you can't......:worried: It might help you to try this. If it's so bad that you can't keep going or you can't push yourself the way you want just stop and go lay on the bench backwards and put your feet up on the bar. Stay there for 5 minutes or so. Then, spend another 5 minutes stretching the hell out of your back. Sometimes it will just go away. Seems to work for me about 70% of the time. I can send you some more "stretching info" like before if you want??? :p lol...

I appreciated the advice... putting my feet up like that would put me in excruitiating pain :worried:
I layed down for 5+ minutes before i belted to try that weight then i had to keep doing that... and I strech throughout my routine too :rolleyes:

It's being a bastard, still... pain in the ass... if it's not good in the next few days i'm taking time off. I want to be lifting for a very long time and i'd rather not put myself in the damn hospital.

No, please no nasty streches, lol.

Tight doesn't even begin to explain how wound up it is, lol... my chiro hasn't been able to crack my L's for a few months because it's so damn tight.

still hurts this morning.

I'll figure something out... even if I have to move to Canada for the health insurance :p

sarge are you stretching??? your hip flexors might be tight as well.....could be causing the the problem.

Yes... yeah they're always tight... I do the "runners stretch" alot...

Actually it's time to eat and stretch right now :)

Bro you need to take a week off. How long has it been since you took an entire week off - no cardio, no lifting, no curls.........

I think every 12 weeks you should take a full week off. Then come back and do a week of high reps and then back on the real deal. When my current cycle ends I am taking 1 week off for sure as my lower back is getting sick of itself.
