Quiet Storm; The Rebirth of KB - My recovery journal

Tues, May 8:

Got back yesterday from an event in Charlotte for several days. REALLY proud of myself and my eating while traveling (a problem in the past). Shit, all day I am around tons of free, fatty fat food. Throughout 5 days of that, including several dinners with clients, I ate really well with minimal slip ups. Hit the shitty hotel gym too.

Today: 184lbs

Did my Movement Prep warm-ups (taken from Core Performance)

I also integrated some shoulder movements from Core Performane - simple body weight movements performed on a physioball, but they wore my shldrs and upper back/traps out.

Last week, for unknown reasons, my left wrist was KILLING me, to the point I couldn't hold any weight with it. Was a little better yesterday, but today it hurt a lot when doing bi's. Odd....
 
do you have wrist wraps? perhaps as you are getting heavier with the weights, y our tendons are not too pleased. is it both wrists or one more than the other? either way, if you're having discomfort - i find wrist wraps helpful. but if you're having Pain - some NSAIDs and rest will do you good.

I'm certainly not going "heavy" tho (but yeah, heavier than my body is used to recently). And just my left one, out of nowhere. I do have wraps. and agree, rest should help. And AIDS too

Just got back from RI. Did all my Core Performance stuff, then finished up with 15 mins HIIT (L5, 10 30 second intervals).

Back to 187 (a few beers and Mom's day breakfast).
