Sitting machine, but I just also started doing calf raises with the smith machine. I need to start getting back into having plated bars on my shoulders to get my back used to carrying loads.

if your gym has one - the horizontal sled (and the 45 degree sled) are excellent for working calves without compressing your spine.

My back never felt good under the standing calve raise machine... felt akward and un-natural for me. holding heavy dumbells or rack walk outs would be a good alternative if you found the machine didn't feel right.

smith machine is a good idea i may have to try that. You try it laying on the floor and using ur toes on it? Or standing on a box?

I used to do box, but for now I just do standing on the floor and raise up. Want to make sure I can handle the weight on my back before I go to the box

Yep, worst possible time too. Supposed to go home to RI for the night to have dinner and hang out with friends. May have to skip it. :(

Upright rows with BB. Haven't done these in forever, cause they used to give my RC issues, but feeling great now
