Question about flax oil,

Hey guys,

I'm new to this board. I work hard in the gym, have cycled in the past,plan to again.
I just bought some flax oil and need to know how much you guys use, I've been taking a spoonful in tha AM and one in the PM.
Also, since it has to be refrigerated, I was wondering if heat will affect it's properties, ie...adding to scrambled egg whites etc...

Thanks for the help and look forward to the discussions.

BTW...I am also a part time private chef so I may be able to throw some tips in..

BTW...I am also a part time private chef so I may be able to throw some tips in..

one teaspoon with a shake or some sort of liquid. I wouldn't cook with it. that's just my opinion.
 
The amount can also vary depending on your diet...or what you're looking to do (bulk, cut, just be healthy..)
 
When you have flax oil, do you have to drink it with the drink or can you have it before or after, separate?

Adding it ruins the taste of the protein drink.

It doesn't matter....

I put it in chocolate protein powder as the chocolate hides the taste....

I pour it over the already cooked egg whites -- you can't cook with Flax Oil & it must be refrigerated....
 
use capsules if you can't deal with the taste
heating it reduces it's benefits
add it to salad dressings, drinks, soups
take a tablespoon followed by a tablespoon of good olive oil followed by your protien shake
