new zombie movie out.. Shaun Of The Dead..

First I gotta say dem' zombies in 28 Days Later rocked. De' best ever!!

But since this movie's zombies can't compare... I guess the movie will be so-so.

Ok... now some questions for you zombie experts.

#1 Ok... zombies are dead right? They come to life by radioactive chemicals, viruses, voodoo, the moon, etc... but they are still technically dead. Correct? Ok.. so why does a gunshot or shovel upside the head or car grill at 40mph kill them? They are already dead. The "life bearing" method that resucitated them should not be affected by something like that.

#2 How does a movie go about casting for zombies? I mean, looks like a lot of housewifes show up. I can see the director now.. "CUT CUT CUT!!! You, Zombie #17. Zombie #17 in the green shirt... please put your arms down. You are a zombie, not a sleepwalker. You don't have to hold your arms out in front of you."

The zombies in 28 days later were good but the movie absolutley SUCKED!

But on the "life line" of the zombies issue, I'm not really sure what to think 'cause if they were dead bit alive or at least animated by one of the listed phenomena, you'd think if their arm, leg, or whatever was cut off, it and the rest of the said zombie would still come after you. Right??

Technically, I'm pretty sure that zombies are "undead" -- while not actually "alive" as we normally consider it -- they are not fully dead either.....thus, since they are "undead" killing them will make them totally dead....

I liked 28 days later too....pretty good.... And the 'zombies' in that movie had a sort of disease or blood infection called "Rage" which made them act zombie like.....at the end of the movie they showed some zombies on the side of the road, too weak to move as they were starving to death....

LOL dont put too much thought into it, I have been asking that question for years, havent figured it out yet.

Shaun of the dead look funny as fuch, I was trying to buy it on line, its been out for a while in europe but couldnt find a place that would ship to the US, I may try ebay.

your body has a nervis system. the brain can be dead and the body still live. the logic behind it is if you break the nervis system then the body cant move on its own...
