I just went to my first appointment today and it was only a half an hr (all I could stand at one time even if I had a chance) I had my underarms done which you gals know is a hard one to keep smooth! I was sick of the ingrown hairs and the pain. I don't want to shave every day. :( So she said I have great hair to work with and it should only take a few times! YAH soo happy:D I am going to get my eyebrows, legs and bikini done but figured I would start small. Have any of you had it done? Let me know all the tips, oh she told me about this cream to get from the drug store that numbs the area! I am for sure going to get it cuz the pain is all on the surface! She does it out of her house and dosn't charge much at all most places are way overpriced.

Yes, I have used electrolysis for my bikini line, I am very happy with it. I did not get any results from 2 laser treatments. I use a prescription cream called Emla. My dermatologist prescribes it and my insurance pays for it. I highly recommend electrolysis. The only downfall is it is very time consuming, so it is probably not for very large areas.

no laser is expensive as hell. I payed 750$ per treatment for chest and abdomen. Most people need at least 5-6 treatments to see like 70-80% permanent hair reduction.

I hope you mean that you paid 750$ per laser treatment and not that you paid "only" 750$ for an electrolysis. Cause if you think 750$ is inexpensive then you need help :)
