going to blast techno and hit PRs in the gym

going for a 340 5x5 squat
330 1x5 bench
2 plates x 5 for weighted pullups
 
got my squats - the last rep of the last set took everything i had

only got 330x3
and 2 plates anda 5, for 4.5 on pullups (had my nose to the bar but didnt count it)

on just ipam, iv gained 4-5 lbs in the past 4 weeks, and my strength is rediculous and im vascular as fuck - shits going to get outta hand when i go back on! cant wait

impressive maing, 330 is about my max these days, 295 for a set of five this AM.
5th rep was spotted though...shit starts hurting my shoulder something fierce

do you pinch your shoulders back and flex your traps?

if i make a conscious effort to pull my shoulder blades back and literally flex my traps during the bench, my shoulders are fine - if i dont, then my right one flares up like fucking crazy

Subz, you use lifting shoes? My chiro suggested I get a pair - used them for the first time yesterday (some VS Athletics ones) for deadlift day. That plus my new liquid grip = noticeable difference.

Looking forward to trying them out at squats on Saturday.
