I did flat bench for the first time in a long time the other day. I was aprehensive and my body was confused. I damn near fell off the bench on my first set. My grip was too narrow and most of the press came from my tri's. Once I got into the grove the workout was awesome. I hurt for days and I was impressed at the weight I was moving and how easy it was.
There is a time and place for every excercise the trick is determining when and where to apply it.
