Dr says my high T levels can be causing my urination problems?? Please help..

Thanks for the help. Its definatly prostatitis. All that means is that my prostate is inflamed. Dr's dont know how to cure it, so they give antibiotics which in 90 percent of cases do nothing for the patient. I'm thinking maybe mine is caused from high E2 levels, like the guy on the meso board said. IDK though, I'm going to take his advice, as I have nothing to lose.

It's funny you should write this post. A buddy of mine warned me about using high amounts of testosterone - that when he uses it - it flares up his prostate. I was like "bah, that will never happen to me.." I was running about 700mg of sustanon a week and 400mg of eq. Anyways, around week 15, I started noticing that when I would do my cardio (my 1 hour session on the eliptical trainer) - I'd have to stop half way through cuz I felt the urge to pee. I've never really had a real strong stream unless its full bladder in the morning. Anyhow, I'd go to the bathroom , a moderate stream and back onto the trainer. I noticed this was occuring more frequently the longer I stayed on this cycle. It really started pissing me off (pardon the pun). Now that I've been almost 2 weeks off, I've noticed that now I can stay on the trainer without the bathroom break. All I know is that the next cycle that I use test won't be that much. Just my experience :) And yes, my prostate felt a little inflamed..but it's better now :)

I have the same problems it hurts and you have to piss all the time, but i got some cipro from the doc and it cleared up

Just came from a dr appointment. I've been experiencing alot of problems with urination, like frequency and a painful bladder. I've tried antibiotics, and all kinds of other things. I was diagnosed by two dr's with prostatitis, and anoter doctor beleive it or not told me it was all due to stress. Anyways, after he told me that I wnet to my GP, who siad he doubts its from stress, although it may be a reason its not getting any better. He did blood tests, the first time I seen him, and I told him I have uses steroids. He told me that highly doubts that the steroids have anything to do with it, but wanted to check my test levels and all anyways. My test level was 1243, when normal is between like 200 and 800. He said that they are very high, and that he thinks maybe that can be causing me problems. I havn't juiced in over 6 months, and its crazy because I did like 3 cycles and never once was smart enough to use pct (except nolva my last, because I was trying to get rid of a lil bit of gyno). I'm just wondering if my T levels can have anything to do with the problems I'm having. Would it cause my prostate to be inflamed? I dont currently have insurance, and really dont want to throw money away. Thanks alot.

With all due respect, I believe the origin of your problems is much more elementary than you and your physicians may realize. Based upon the information provided in this thread, more specifically the previous failure of treatment with antibiotics, I would recommend having your kidneys examined.

I think your prostatitis is just a flare-up.......infection perhaps.

I don't see this as prostate hypertrophy which would be serious.

Prostaitits is very very serious. Its not an infection, I did 45 straight days of cipro. I've also been living with this for 8 months now. About 4-5 mos ago it has gotten really bad, and I can no longer handle it. I cant even hit the gym the last few mos, if I try to lift I start feeling like I'm releasing or something in my pants (evne though I'm not). I'm hoping its do to high E2. I'm going to find out real soon I guess... Thanks for all of your replies, I appreciate the help.
