Chest/tris the day after shoulders?

Alright, so I'm kinda obsessing about overtraining recently, but mostly just because I want to make sure I'm letting my body grow enough and not over-working it.

If I do shoulders one day, and then do chest/tris the next day, is that ok, or since chest and shoulders sorta overlap should I wait......?

i cant do chest and shoulders one after teh other personally
i would give it a day or two between if at all possible

agreed. my shoulders get hit a lot doing chest, so I need a little break.

It's probably best to wait a day. However it's not a huge deal imo. I've done one after the other without any problems or loss of gains.

Your main overlap concern will be on military press, bar or db. Most people cheat on these anyway by leaning back and sticking their chests out too far, and turning the movement into what is essentially a steep incline bench press. That's not what a shoulder press should be.

Stick to good form on your shoulder work and you should be fine.
