Hey guys I'm looking for a good weightgainer about 600 calories or so that is low in sugar and more importantly low in cholesterol
Also dont wanna pay an arm and a leg for it .... I know big blast is good but def too expensive for me

Needto's Better Bars

Or

Make your own gainer shake. Skim milk, two scoops whey, two scoops oat starch (grind your own), and a tblp ANPB.

was looking at getting a powder weightgainer just for convenience for when im on the run much quicker and easier for me to mix a shake real quick....any suggestions?

Ultimate Nutritions ISO MASS Xtreme Gainer. CytoSport's Monster Mass weight gainer. don't buy that disgusting generic bullshit that you get at GNC its the worst tasting stuff and is so thick its like trying to down a can of paint

If you use chocolate flavored whey, oats tastes amazing with it.

But it would be so thick I'd have to pass on the next meal. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Look, anything is just protein fat and carbs. When someone says they want 400 calories it isn't like one thing will have more than other. (Unless it has more fat or it's a bigger portion). BIG BLAST also contains creatine, NO2 and super plasma protein which all add additional weight. And it isn't filling. That's the point. Otherwise, you might as well have a hamburger and a milkshake.

And why are people complaining it's so expensive? It's like 2 bucks more a pound than some GNC crap.

If you're paying half for something that is a quarter as effective, you aren't saving any money, you're wasting it.

I do this everyday. 2 scoops whey, frozen banana, cup of oats (I don't even grind them - let the blender do it) and skim milk or water. Tastes great and I'm hungry in a couple hours...

ive been an avid weightgainer shake user for years..being an ecto i wanted as many calories as possible and i kinda started to rely on these shakes (along with five solid meals) to give me that calorie surplus each day....but lately i went for two weeks without any cos my supplier had sold out...was dreading standing on the scales since id basically dropped around 1500kcals per day...when i did i hadnt lost any weight atall....i guarantee if id dropped 1500kcals of real food my weight would have really dipped...i now personally think there a waste of time...i think it has something to do with how quickly it digested by ur body...the calories are in and out to quik to even make a difference.
i now just drink regulsar shakes once a day and upped my meals to six a day.
