Best Weightgainer for the money

If I was in the pre packaged weight gainer market and money was no issue it would be Big Blast. Big Blast is just too damn expensive for me though. Factor in the price per pound and then the high shipping and well, it is just out of my price range. Nelson you need to get us EF members a deal on this stuff. Maybe even talk PF into lowering the price per pound. I bet sales would increase. Maybe I'm just cheap....

YES, it is expensive for me too. Thats why I only use it for a Post-workout shake only cause I would be using it 3 times a day if I had a choice. The pound price and shipping IS damn expensive as you said, thats no joke. I bought a 5 lb. tub of it and has lasted me around a month and that is because I use small quantities of it. I've been completely ou for a week or so. waiting ti get some $$ to buy it.
Nelson, it would be a great idea if you can try to help us out cause really the shipping is ridiculous and the pound price tag is a bit steep. I make no mistake, its the best protein I have ever taken and I have the results to prove it.

It seems to me that the sugar content would make it best appropriate for PWO anyway. I like your strategy.

I don't even use high gi carbs pwo anymore. I recover just fine without them. A whey iso shake immediately pwo then a solid meal with either sweet potatoes or oats as the carb source with lean protein and healthy fats works best for me. A super crazy insulin spike pwo leads to fat accumulation for me.

I've been wondering about this myself. Plus any "spillover" is going straight to fat.

Tell you this much, when I used a product like OP Serious Mass, I gained alot of weight but it was all mostly from unwanted sugars and if you read the content on it, it will tell you the quanity of the sugars is high. All of it went to my gut and got fat. With BigBlast, its not that way at all.

Meh, PF has free shipping from time to time if your order is $100 or more. Big blast is worth the price I think. I'm sure most of us piss away cash on stuff that doesn't have near the value too. I know I do.

But yeah, I use it PWO mainly...

Sure it's pricey...when you compare it to the INCREDIBLE deals we've been spoiled with here on EF lately. With discount codes dropping from the sky like candy, and sites like SupplementKingdom somehow giving us 2 lbs. ON Whey for under $20 after shipping, it's easy to lose sight of what is a normal price for a protein. The point is, Big Blast may run you a lot more than you are used to paying for protein: however, it's not just any old protein. It's the highest of quality around. Add in the fact that it taste's fantastic, and the price per pound is 100% reasonable.

Yes I agree it is a lot harder to afford right now due to the economy and whatnot, etc. etc. It would be fantastic if EF could eventually get a discount code for PF. But if you're serious about adding mass, it doesn't matter: you should be buying Big Blast regardless. Why waste your money on anything less than what you need?

EDIT: Though as others have pointed out, you might be better off using it solely for post-workout in order to make it an affordable supplement.
