I can say IMO, the BEST possible scenario in a weightgainer is not just an all in one weightgainer! Here's the secret:
A) Eat wholesome foods everyday that are unprocessed like NEEDTO stated.
B) Get NeedTo's Better Bars and follow his weightgainer formula for hardgainers at needtobuildmuscle.com
C) Get BIG BLAST and USE it for Post-Workout shake everyday consistently. You WILL see the big diffrence in the protein quality and results.
If you eat 4-6 small meals a day along with this formula I mentioned, YOU WILL get good results along with a Hard Ass workout!! The quality in the BetterBars protein and the BIG BLAST is Excellent, and that is what you want. Therefore, you CAN afford to buy BIG BLAST and use it intelligently, while it being cost effective. Don't bother spending $$ on Serious Mass cause it is high in sugars and will only put a gut on you. Be Careful at what type of all in one weightgainer out there in the market. Again, the above mentioned is Awesome formula and worked great for me!!
This makes the most sense. You MUST eat healthy foods.
If you want a high calorie nutritious snack, use needto's bars. (And the recipe for protein cookies I posted).
For a muscle building supplement, use BIG BLAST. Cause it's flat out best.
It makes NO SENSE to try and save a couple of bucks by buying mediocre protein and then eat crap. Get your protein from food and use a supplement to get what you CAN NOT get from food!
And as MetalDead says, the taste alone makes it worthwhile.
