Anyone with herniated disc experience?

I'm not a doc but it doesn't sound like a herniation to me either. I would like to add though- the first day you feel 100% again, don't come back and hit the weights hard again. Take an additional week off and start back light. I jumped right back into a regular workout the first day I felt better and when later that day the pain started coming back and by morning I was a cripple again.

Thanks for all the eplies peeps. As I said, I don't have much experience with disc problems, so the next statement may mean nothing, but I don't feel like I am in the situation where I need a shot or even surgery. It's the tingling in the legs that worries me. I am in the second week of the Core Performance training and am hoping that program helps. We'll see. I'll get an MRI anyway though.
I have had the same problem you are talking about. i staarted going to chiropractor for a while and helped very little. had mri done and fould disc between l4 and l5 squashed and piece of the disc broke off and went into spinal column. went to a sports medicine dr. and found out about a procedure called VAX-D. had this done to me 6 yrs. ago and have had no problems since. it is not a surgery, more similar to controled traction therapy. only took 24 days. of this to have me pain free.
