Anyone with herniated disc experience?

I have mine in the lower neck from my car accident in '01. It bothers me from time to time when I push too hard in the gym or don't stretch to keep the neck muscles in balance. It will never be the same but there is a risk of rupture in the weakened area. After a rupture, surgery to fuse it will limit the range of motion you will have.

Be careful on the big lifts.

I herniated one of mine a few years back. I'm fine now. Find a good chiropractor (you may have to try a few out) and get an MRI. Then take some time off and heal. Time off sucks, but you have to do it or you just prolong a return to 100%

if all you are is experiencing a tingling in your leg it is probably from a pinched nerve which can be caused by a herniated disc.. i fractured 2 of my upper verts and herniated one and it was the most painful thing that's ever happened to me.. i was paralyzed for 3 days and went through intense PT, im sure my pain was due to the fractures not hernated disc though ;) but mine will slide out of place every once in awhile and ocassionaly pinch a nerve and ill get those tingling feelings from my hammy to my toes.. found a really good chiropractor (went to 5 before this one) that fixes it everytime in one pop! :rainbow:

Are you sure it's not a pinched nerve?

it may well be a pinched nerve, and seems like it would be. like I said, it is definitely not extremely painful or anything along those lines - just very weird with the legs tingling a lot and kind of going numb for a second or 2 at random times.
