Well....personally, I don't dress for other women - I could care less what other women think of what I'm wearing. If I'm dressing to look good, I am dressing for the men to notice. It doesn't mean I want to sleep with any of them, but I like to know that I can turn heads if/when I want to. As far as the women dressing for women/competition thing - do you really think if there were no men in this world that women would still compete to look better than other women ? Who do you think they are competing for? Men. It's just a primal thing to want to attract the opposite sex.....
And what do you think it is that makes them feel better? Why, knowing they have all the males' attention!

It is a primal thing why women dress for other women. Why do you think the lion has to look the biggest and baddest, first to scare off the competition, or the biggest bull, ram ect.... Once you have beat the competition then its about the other sex. No one in the animal kingdom is mating unless then display alpha qualities. So yes you are correct. The only strange thing in the animal world it usually the male with the colorful feathers, or the biggest horns or body. In the human world to a large extent it seems to be the women who, paint themselves up, wear the attention getting outfits, have most of the plastic surgery ect.... I speaking in general we know there are a bunch of metrosexuals out there.
