What Supps MUST You Have?

Excluding a multi ....we all know that.

For bodybuilders, I'd say protein is number one. And although I'll still use a good protein drink now and then, I think GEAR is fulfilling the need for fast, superior protein really well. It's funny how protein has always been at the core, but it took this long to get something that a leap beyond what's been around for years.

Besides that, what would you say is a MUST?

I like glutamine

god damn it every time someone mentions those bars i start ceaving them. i guess im going to n2bm now.

fish oil, garlic, multi, extra vit c, flax oil, greens+, and tons of bomb food, water, and veggies

digestive enzymes, asprin, creatine, bcaa, fiber, fish oil, flax oil, multi v.

i take 162.5mg 2x ed to keep my blood on the thinner side for better nutrient delivery. this is also monitored by my doctor. the negative effects of the asprin are less than any blood thinners. what is considered to be a normal healthy daily asprin dose is the low dose asprin i think its around 80mg. asprin at the right dosage is good for your heart. if you are into any strenous sport steroids or not you need to worry about heart health and do what you can to protect it. ask your doctor about it next time you see him.

Arginine and glutamine. I can't live without them.

All of the above.

Glad you mentioned a multi vit. That should be a given! Protein is number 1, without a shadow of a doubt.

Outside that id say it depends on goals. A weight gainer can really make things easier if you are a hardgainer or are bulking and struggle to get that 4/5000 cals a day!

Have to go with protein bars. Sometimes it's the only way I can get a meal.

Even though I love using supplements, nothing really compares to the importance of food.

I do feel a bit guilty about eating bars though. I have found that keeping carbs low has made all of the difference and there really aren't any bars that are even close to eating chicken breast and broccoli.

Even though I use protein bars all the time, I'd be lying if I didn't feel a pang of guilt every time I tear open the wrapper.

Oh well...

I would say caffeine but I'm trying to remove it from my daily routine

My new nonstim energy stack is the bomb though. 2g ALCAR + 1g Green Tea (45% ECGC) + Full spectrum B vits with methyl B12 2x ed

Carlsons Finest liquid fishoil

NOW G8-Adolphius and Super Enzymes

Sugar free pink lemonade metamuceil

creatine is a must for me because the pump really increases motivation during workout. It also helps a lot to prevent soreness. Lots of people say high water intake is a must, but I substitute water with 1% milk (except during workout). It's mostly water but has a ton of protein and carbohydrate in it as well, and is damn cheap. Best bang for buck for any protein/carb product, and it tastes great. No workout is complete without proper motivation from Testament, Metallica, and/or Annhilator. That's testosterone to the temporal lobes.

I like to use ZMA, it lets me sleep like a baby every night. And since it puts you into a deeper REM sleep state, it gives you some really fucked up dreams too. I enjoy them :D

Potassium. The body needs GRAMS a day, not miligrams.
