Valium has to long of a half life. However it will work, but you're going to have a hangover most likely the next day.

On really bad nights this has worked well (use this only if you really need a knockout blow):
1mg Xanax + 100mg benadryl + 2 oz. whiskey
you can substitute melatonin or vicodin for the whiskey.
