weapon, livonia is just a trashy city... its older than most of detroits burbs so the buildings are older, the rent is cheaper on average... actually the outer limits of livonia are quite nice, so lets go with half of that 97% is trash... and 97% of the chicks are whores... better?

this study was for cities with OVER 100k... that is probably why that vidor place didnt make it...

I grew up in Livonia. Didn't see a whole lot of white trash living there. Actually it was quite nice. Sure, its really white, I won't argue with that, but there are plenty of nice neighborhoods, schools, etc. Hate to disagree with you madb, but I did live there almost my whole life.

I agree. Live there right now on the outskirts toward 7 mile by the mall. There is nothing wrong with this city that isnt wrong with any other.

Vidor, TX defintely has the largest percentage of white trash. Several years ago, the State of Texas decided to integrate one of the housing projects. So, they poured several million into renovations (added AC) and conned a couple of black families to move in. Before the efforts of our State gov't, I dont know a single black person (or many white people) that wanted to live in Vidor, TX. While things were escalating in this trailer-park haven, I graduated law school and moved to a neighboring town. Lo and behold, I was appointed to reperesent one of the esteemed Klansmen in his defense against the Texas Commission on Human Rights. The Commission decided my client needed to pay dmaages in excess of $1 million. At the time, my client was unemployed (no high school diploma) and divoced with two kids to suppport.

Not sure what the gov't was trying to do, but some things are better left alone. Why try to integrate a place that no one cares about. Why spend several million dollars to entice integration?

In the end, the attempt at integration in Vidor has been a complete failure and an enormous waste of Taxpayer money

I have heard of black people that live in Vidor, but from what I hear the Sign on the highways still states for black people to be out by sundown
