Sheeeeet, tore my pec last night!!!!

Bro I did the same thing 3 weeks ago..it felt like I got hit with an icepick!! I went right to the hospital for x-rays and it wasn't off the bone, so no surgery..just rest....and Vicoden..My bruising was from the end of my bicep ,up the chest and down my ribcage..not nice. I went to accupunture and that REALLY HELPED..seriously. I firmly believe the HGH speeds up the process also. Yesterday I was able to do cardio and arm machines..DO NOT try any "push" lifts!! Take a couple weeks off(totally) and see how you feel after that. Keep it in a sling for up to 3 days and just rest it. Doc told me if I didn't have a good spot(315) it would have totally tore off the bone..so it could always be worse!! Rest up bro.......
 
Yes I am completely 100% sure it is not a bicep tendon tear, reason being is I have complete range of motion in my bicep and now my whole pec is starting to swell up, it is way tighter to the touch than the other side, no brusing though. It is actually getting sore now all the way across my pec all the way to the muscle connections at the sternum.

Damn bro sorry to hear that, I feel your pain! Your brusing seems to sound way worse than mine. I have no brusing in my chest or ribcage. Although my entire left pec is really swollen. At least I have noticed decreased swelling in the brusing area, guess the major bleeding has stopped. I do have a sling that I wear when I leave the house to keep the movement down. I have not thought of accupunture, i'll have to look into that. I dont know if there is anywhere in my town or our twin city though.
 
For me I am finally able to start running again. The bouncing of the chest while running felt brutal ... so for cardio the bike, steppper, and something that will help keeping the blood going to your back arms and shoulders is the rower.

I row for like 30-45 minutes a few times a week between other cardio. I dont use AAS but I have hardly lost any muscle at all aside from maybe some neck/trap thickness.

Good for the cardio and the pump ... also keeping good posture keeps the strain off your chest aswell.
 
man partner that hurts me jus lookin at it. thats somethin i never really thought much bout, but i know it could happen at anytime. sure hope it heals quick an don't let it get to ya, jus one of them minor setbacks,(not to minor in your case though). wonder if there's much you can do to prevent tears like this, maybe more stretchin? don't know, anybody have any input on this

Yeah I hope its minor but by looking at the next pic i'm gonna post, its looking like it could be a larger problem that I thought. This morning I thought it was getting a little better, even though it looked worse, cause the swelling had gone down in my arm, but now my left pec is really swolen and noticable enough that people can tell the difference when I am wearing a shirt. It just bulges out.

I dont think there was much more stretching I could have done. I stretch for about 2 minutes before warming up and stretch inbetween each set. I had actually increased my stretching recently because I was having minor pains the month before, in both pecs, and had to lay off of doing bench for a week or so, twice during that month. I had just gotten back to the point that I was not having any pain in my chest for the previous 3 weeks and everything seemed back to normal. Boy was I wrong, no warning and snap, its fucked.
 
Damit it just keeps looking worse and worse as time goes by. Here is another pic from 52hrs after the tear.

Tore my peck last September. There was no blood like yours, I just knew it. I could hear it tear. 3 docs did not think it was much. I begged the 4th doc to move forward with surgery. Good thing I did, it was ripped from bone and tore half way down pec muscle. Even with the MRI these guys could not see the tear.
Some advice for you. See 3 docs, all related to sports injury. i.e. local NFL, NBA, or college sports programs. If you have a choice to make about surgery, just do it, you will be happier in the long run. . .let me know which state you are in I might be able to help you with my doc.
