I know that's why I mentioned it. :) I'm not a plat though so I only got the thumbnails. :( Not an ounce of fat anywhere that I could see though! Awesome job SG. :)

And I'm down to twice a week tanning to maintain. Would like to keep my skin nice an wrinkle free for as long as I can. :)

Just make sure you're not burning. That's what has the worst effect on your skin. That and the HP tanning units. So avoid both and you'll be good to go! :)

Yep. No burning, just browning. And no more HP booths either. I think my salon owner must be getting lessons from the Gotti's. :)

I'm 35 - been tanning since I was 14-15 y/o. I abused tanning when I was younger, but have been taking some serious care of my skin since I started my business 3 years ago. People guess my age around 25-28. This is with YEARS of tanning, so since you're starting so young - you're going to be one FINE old guy!!! lol :kiss:

Well thank you SG! :kiss: I'm not that young though. 27 been tanning fairly regularly since I was 19. But I still pass as 21 from the neck up. :) Got carded a few weeks ago by a bald bartender who was one year younger than me. Yes it made my day. :)

Speaking of cookies, I had a customer bring me four big ole M & M cookies yesterday :evil: I said thanks, but what my mind was thinking was "what am I gonna do with these" Maybe I'll mail them to SG aka cookie monster :) And actually here they are.....

Well I was at the gym last weekend and some lady made banan nut muffins and was handing them out.Stil warm from the oven. She was handicapped and I didn't have the heart to tell her no, So I took it and it was in my hand!!! I had to throw it away in the bathroom in the back. I felt so bad :(

Awwww, that was nice of her....however, a gym is not quite the place to be handing out junk food......I know what you mean though feeling guilty about dismissing someones gesture of kindness.

It's not quite the same thing, but every year at tax season, one of the tax prep places brings me a box of Krispy Kreme glazed donughts and some discount tax coupons for clients. As soon as the guy leaves, I give the whole box away to a client to get them out of here.

I thought the same thing about the muffins... but the lady was in a wheelchair, and couldn't hardly talk. She had them in a plastic baggy (not wrapped) just grabbing them out with her hands and handing them to a few women in the locker room :worried: She was happy and smiled wide when people would take one. So I didn't want to spoil her fun.
Yeah I'm not into the Krispy Kreme stuff.... I never really got what the fuss was all about.... Thought they tasted bad and left a greasy film in my mouth and then afterwards was icking grease all day!! :rolleyes:

The house is still a mess and I just barely got started packing, so I have to go home 1st before I can leave......sigh........ :frog:

HHHAAAAAAAHHHHHHH - big exhale!!! Finally back and rested. Got back last night around 5 PM. Went to grab some food and CRASHED!!!!! I was SO exhausted. Stayed up 'til 5-5:30 AM on yesterday morning and only got 4 hours of sleep before I drove back home (and missed my turn which added about another hour of driving time) :rolleyes:

Had a great time. Got to meet a lot of really cool people: Sassy, Hotteacher, Nsash, Quadsweep (and wife), Aries & tps. I'm so happy to have met all of you and I hope there will be more meet-ups!
 
OK, after sitting next to Quad's wife at dinner, I decided I'm going to change it up for myself. She is one of the nicest people I've ever met, btw......as is Quad.

I've decided I want a little more size. Going to start pushing hard again soon, within the next couple of weeks. Getting the mental aspect together now.

LOL - inspiration is when you're in a room full of muscle heads!!! lol

To the joe schmoe's out walking around in the grocery or wherever, I may have a little more muscle than a "regular" woman. At these shows - I'M A PIPSQUEAK!!!!!! :lmao:

I was telling Sassy and Teach at dinner that it's SOOOOO nice to be able to sit around and talk freely about the lifestyle. It's like my choker finally got to come off! I LOVED it.

Can't wait 'til Treil's show! :)

Funny that you got inspired too. HT was planning a show in Sept but wasn't really on trying to get more size per se. So as of yesterday, she asked if'd I'd start training with her 1 month earlier than planned and she vowed to get her cals up now. Gotta get some leg size on her. So we did our first leg workout Sunday AM. She's gonna take some time to get used to traing with me again. She usually gets a few burp/pukes when training legs. This time she had four distinct trips to the bathroom to full on throw up! She's a trooper though and finished her workout. Bet she's woalking funny today!

Scorp, you have the base. Just up the cal's a bit and hit the gym with as much intensity as you can. Don't limit carbs either. Your gonna need them!

I feel for her running to the bathroom. I hate that feeling. She'll get use to it.....maybe? lol She's a trooper! You two are awesome!!!!!!


Well, Mermaid. I think I'll try to keep my cals around 1500 (they never really dropped from my last bulk - bad me!) and try to get some extra carbs in before and after training - especially on leg day. We'll start with that and tweak from there.

I know what you mean about people not relating to what you're doing. It's rare to actually have a conversation about fitness with anyone at work or even at the gym. I've changed it up to training body parts 1x per week. I'll train 3x a week and try to squeeze cardio in on my days off. I'm training to failure 1-2 of 3 sets per exercise and I really need the recovery time. I've found that I only need about 6 heavy sets (upper), and a little more on the lower to gain size - so that's where I am at the moment. Again....trained legs Tuesday and I'm STILL limping around :)

.....I also can't forget about that rotator that's giving me fits. Trying to train heavy on the upper body...we'll see how the rotator reacts.
