Yes, I know, the popcorn is a staple. I've always loved salty crunchy. Namely - CHIPS! That's a big no no for me unless it's a cheat day, so I settle for this popcorn I found thats - per cup popped - 30 cal, 3.5g carbs....and that's all I really care about. The whole bag is 5 cups - so there's no guilt there for me. Pop - sprinkle on some Splenda - and it's ON!!!! lol

Yeah well I alwasy seem to buy these organic egg whites from Whole Foods. Well it's the plastic container witha plastic lid that I have actually had to stab the side of the container to get the egss out because they seriously glue those lids on!
Well this morning on my way in my egg whites decided to spill all over my passenger seat.. SO luck y having leather it will wipe off... Ummm later on when I get the time... :evil: So much for cleaning the car over the weekend!!

I think I like the D-Root. I can't tell a huge difference with it, but I keep taking it anyway. lol

Dandalion root loses it's diuretic strength if you take it for an extended period of time. The first time I took 2 grams and looked a lot leaner overnight.

Healthy though to take as a base supplement. Helps support liver primarily but also benefits the pancreas, kidneys, stomach, and spleen. Also if you have stiff joints it can help with that as well.

And to reduce blood pressure. :)

Think that's about it.

That's what I figured ...

Alex, I have I ran it before and you are correct, it does lose its effect and at max dose you are just 'taking another pill' ... some people this it's BS ...

but actually it is NOT healthy for me & my kidneys ... those substances/teas/pills/etc containing diuretics in general ... it's interesting that you say that ... (please do NOT go quoting studies...)

FOr the record, I did NOT have adverse effects to the D Root though, nor can I say for sure it worked.

Just started it last week. I'll probably take it thru next week and give it a rest. I'm taking the max dose.

Don't worry Bun. No studies from me. I'm not Lifter remember. ;)

It has been used to treat jaundice, hepatitis, and urinary tract infection for years though. Not sure how it affected you.

OOOH ... make protein balls... I think Sassy has the recipe...

I believe its protein powder, water, NPB or your choice or nuts... make a 'stiff dough', roll into 1 or 2 in. balls, place on cookie sheet and put in freezer for 15min, then refrigerate. SOOOOO GOOD< I like adding instant coffee or ff vanilla coffee mix. Also can make with lipton lemon green ice tea+ strawberry protein powder...

LOL Now I wanna go make some :)

Well, I don't have any protein powder at the moment. It started to make me gag a while back so I gave it away. I do need to buy some to cook with now though. My parents were health freaks when I was younger and I was raised on protein balls! lol In fact, remember in grade school when you had to do those speeches on "how to" ..... yah, mine was how to make protein balls! lol

Well Roony......I suppose there will be a morsel or two for you!

I have:

A small package of beef that I'm making into "mini" burgers.

A nice size bag of shrimp I'm going to sautee in cooking spray, garlic powder and fresh squeezed lemon.

A couple russet potatoes that I'm going to cube and put in a skillet with some cooking spray and onion.

A couple sweet potatoes I'm going to nuke and mash w/a little Blue Bonnet, cinn/apple pie spice & splenda.

.....and some eggs - pretty much scrambled whites with a yolk or two.

I think that will all fit in the mini. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in our room bringing food that needs to be refrigerated. I could bring the cooler just incase we end up with left overs - could move the brought food into it so the bought food could go in the mini.

FYI......bring your own water to the show. A bottle will cost you at least $3.00.

If you bring the cooler, we could always hit up a convenience store or grocery store to stash some clean eats. I'll have to remember to buy some water before we go to the pre-judging on Saturday. Thanks for the tip, SG - I hate paying more than $2 for bottled water!!
