I'm wondering who you're going to find to do these nerve blocks, permanent or not as a for of punishment. We're not going to. One consideration would be to train technicians to do nothing but this, and it theoretically it would probably work because you can train a monkey to go through the motions to do a procedure. But all it would take is one specially trained "technician" to fuck up and they wouldn't allow technicians to do it anymore and again, we're not going to do it.
