I've been in the same boat as you lately. Not sure what has caused it (this time), but we're both permanent close-grip benchers. Also, give decline close(er) grip a shot; I've found it causes the least pain out of any pressing movement. Congrats on your PR-a-thon and keep up the good work.

Cool... I'll keep that in mind for a change of pace at some point.

Yeah the close gripping and tucking my elbows for the past 8 weeks... I"ve had zero rotator pain... except once real quick when doing dips for the first time at more than a few reps (BW).

Nice Jobs on the PR fest as everyone says....

I also bench close grip style. I put my index on the first rings on the bar. Everyone tells me when they are spotting me, WIDER, and i just look at them I do feel my chest worked more wider tho, but thats a cosmetic unconditioned thing.

You def have a 315 Quality Squat in you. You just need a good spot to reasure your sissy ass you got it. =] Jk

How u feelin after all the beating tho? Big Weights BRO! now ur allowed to get achy =]

lol... yeah, Close grippin'... i love it :evil: My chest has filled out more all over... i used to have a bunch of meat on the outside... it's getting to be like slabs of steak finally...more even, and it's not like i'm benching more weight than I used to... Grip change is the only difference (well actually..BB too...used to be a DB jockey).

:lmao: STFU! I know... I Know... I intimidate the weights when I need to :evil: ... slow and steady... 315 will be nice when I get there :D

Eh, pretty good... I've been more achy before... not bad at all... after deads is when I feel like a Dead man, lol.

My right bicep feels a little tweaked actually, it's fine though...just little stuff.

My spinal erectors.. surprizingly... feel brand NEW (after going heaviest I've tried with GoodMornings)... i love them, I think they're my favorite new addition to my arsenal of muscle groups that can take abuse now :chomp:

workouts being bumped...FYI.. cuz I know CS would come in here Wednesday and say something out the workout that night, lol.

W8_D2Thurs - Light Squat, Push Press, Deadlift OR Power Clean and Clean Pulls (leaning towards OLY, I don't really care about pushing my dead right now... getting my bench and squat up to par is Priority Numero Uno :) )

W8_D3Sat - Heavy Squat Triple PR, Bench 5x8 Routine, Row Triple PR, and Misc Gheighetty exercises :p

Damn, I was just getting used to writing "Monday", "Wednesday", and "Friday" again rather than "Day 1, 2, 3".

I've bumped my workouts full circle back to the M-W-F ...now they're on rolling bump schedule again.

Practiced dipping to receive the bar on all sets... WOW, what a difference!! :evil:

:rolleyes: Wrist was killing me... cut it short (supposed to be 8 sets of 3)

turned it into deads... just was NOT feeling strong yesterday at all...

Felt heavy as shit last night... I blame food intake.
