Really? Can the humpback live in the desert? How about the jungle? Survive malaria.. the plague? Hell humpbacks "barely" survived being harpooned by fucking sailors in wooden sailboats. HUMANS had to protect them
Humans could actually create long term habitats underwater.. Im pretty sure thats something whales could never accomplish.
As far as severe climate change.. humans could quite easily survive a nuclear winter.. if you understood the feeind habits and food dependencies of a whale you'd know they wouldnt make it a year.
Pick another your, whale example is teh fail.
Even beetles havnt survived in the inhospitable climates humans have.. and they are even more hardy than your cockroach.
Sorry bro.. we rule the roost.
I am talking survival . I can name a half a dozen other species that would outlive humans and have been around longer then humans. Turtles, snakes, scorpions, crabs, worms ,crustations, flies.
WHO CARES if a scorpion cant fly to the moon or paint the walls of his house ,
I am talking survival.
these animals , will live all over the earth in diff locations during a global warming spelt or a scortched earth scenero , the first place would be sea dwelling animals , evidence proves that what killed off the dinosurs did not effect marine life as harsh ,due to the fact that many of them survived and have fossil records that date back to the time of dinosouars
I am telling you humans are not that great of survivalist .
The best survivalist are animals that do not have to eat or drink water for weeks on end and have immune systems that are indestructable.
No a cock roach does not need to live in the north pole for it to survive living under rocks near the equater and drinking the water of the morning dew drops.
Humans = Cancer , aids, hepatitis hell the common flu kills over 36,000 people in the usa alone every year.

You really need to read up on how fragile humans really are in terms of immune system along with food and water requirments .
You must remember humans have only been around a few million years , many animals today yes even the cockroach goes back billions of years.
after the atomic bombs were tested in the pacific islands the entire island was totally destroyed , guess who survived with out a radiation suit and continued to thrive in the islands , The scientist only found cockroaches.
that should give you a clue to what would happend during a nuclear fall out as humans died off from radiation posioning
