Not necessarily. A good friend of mine is in critical condition right now because a 17Y/O girl was driving with a learners permit and ran a red light and hit him head on.

The bike is no more or no less dangerous than the actions of the person on it. You can never control your environment not even in a car. The only difference is a motorcycle always loses in a collision. I've had people run me off the road or do all kinds of stupid shit. I've learned from this to treat every car as the enemy so I many stay as far away from them as I can. And if I even have the slightest doubt as to someone's intentions I back off until I discern them.

Cheers,

Talk all the smack you want, I feel it entitles me to ridicule others who make the same mistake even more now.

Yep total noob move, you'd think with 24yrs on bikes and atvs and six years on this bike I'd be past that shit, but then again I've decided that I am 86% retarded.

thats the smartest thing to do right there. too many people who can't see or just really don't pay attention to their surroundings. But all in all were all glad your alright.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

The funny thing is the first thought that came to my mind when I got back on the road was "Fuck I hope the bike's ok".LOL

i'm glad you didn't eat it!! then i would have had to post in your "i ruined my casual dress shirt and scuffed up my face" thread

Thanks. I wouldn't have posted about my face, not like a wreck is going to make me any uglier.

The shirt would have pissed me the fuck off though, so I don't wear them on the bike.
