I'm in the hospital...

with my wife. Her water broke around 11:30am. They started her on pitocin around 4:15. She is having contractions every 3 minutes or so but she can't even feel them (even on pitocin)!

I'll try to update details as they come, but it's slow going right now.

Stay tuned for baby boy...

it varies
its not always a huge splash of water coming out the crotch
mine was a "leak" and just made my panties feel wet (i didnt pee)
they even sent me home with the leak and said "if the leak gets worse, come to the ER" so I did later that night
you can tell its not urine b/c it smells sweet

yeah, my wife's was more of a leak 2-3 times between 10-11:30 or so, then a gush. She's been leaky and had a few more gushes since.

We're basically just waiting now.

wifey's trying to sleep, but she's feeling the contractions a bit more so they're keeping her awake. That and the nurse comes in at least every hour or less. I'm tired too. We'll see if either one of us can get any sleep!

10:40pm, so I guess June 1st will be the date.

i spent the better part of the day with my 7 & 10 year old

We've been in the hospital about 21 hours. Wifey's finally fully dialated and she gave a few trial pushes. They say by noon (1.5 hours) the baby should be born.

I'll let everyone know. Thanks for the well wishes and the humorous posts too. :D

Yeah, after 11 hours on pitocin, she got the epidural at 3:30am. She was 2cm at the time. :worried:

It has definitely been slow going. The kid is like 2 weeks early, but it's taking forever for him to get here. Does this mean he'll always be early, but just be really slow about getting anywhere? :D

Worse! I got my shot and couldn't perform! I don't know what happened, thats not normal for me. Only thing I can think is the poor guy was just too tired, he was half hard all night just being around her so when it came go time I had nothing. I want a shot at redemption but I don't know if I'll get it.

Damn no way not puddles!! That is like my worst nightmare! That has only happen to me a couple times and it was when I did that white shit. I think that really freaks women out and I've had the girls say well I guess I don't turn you on.

Yeah, women tend to blame themselves. Its definitely not her, I don't think I could be any more attracted to her. Maybe Mondays appointment had me a little stressed, I dunno. Definitely wasn't coke dick, haven't done any of that in a long time.

That would be enough stress to do it to me! lol How did she take it after? Was you able to put that puddle sweet talk on her and make her feel better. Yea I stopped doing that crap because it was like the only times i did I always had a hot chick that wanted to rape me and my slugger didn't want to bat!

We talked about it briefly and she seemed to take it ok, but you never know what a girl is thinking. I just hope she doesn't blame herself cause it definitely wasn't her fault.

When they come in to give your wife some meds get her to slip you one so you can sleep in those terrible chairs.
