Nathan grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. His father worked as a chef and took every opportunity to pass along his knowledge of cooking on to him. At 16 years old, he got his first job at a fancy restaurant called Café’ 97 where he quickly learned that he loved the work. He worked there until his first child was born then decided he needed to further his career.

At the age of twenty years old with a wife and son he joined the Army. He knew having the financial burden of a family meant that if he wanted to stay in the restaurant industry he would have to rise to a higher level than just the average grill cook. He joined the Army as a food service specialist and the army soon saw his talents for cooking and sent him to advanced culinary training. Upon completing the training he spent 3 years as the head chef of the dining facility.

Four years later and a new daughter and son later he was out of the military and had his  first head chef position. He knew how to manage a restaurant due to being the shift leader of the dining facility; however this restaurant had yet to open. He created the full menu with pricing, designed the kitchen, and assisted in designing the dining area.
Nathan is currently the executive chef of a fancy up scale establishment and the proud author of a published cook book.

Although his life is busy he still manages to make it to the gym daily. He currently bench presses 365 lbs, squats 550 lbs, and deadlifts 500 lbs. He joined Elite Fitness back in 2005 and has been on the site since then. After years of posting and taking advice from others he figured it was time to give back to the community and The Anabolic Kitchen is the proud result.

In 2007, Nathan was made a moderator of the EF Forums and soon after was promoted to Elite Moderator. He is still on Elite Fitness daily, and still helps as many members as he can.
