how many work hours do you average a week?

Anywhere from 32-45 hours per week. It's full tilt while at work so it feels like more.

i got 40 hours done in 30.

i'll work momre if i realy have to. but i don't fuck around like others - so as long as i get my work done - i spend the other 10 reading books, improving my knowledge, working on websites, having business meetings, etc. 'constructive' stuff that makes me even better.

i hate when people just surf and goof off all day and neglect work. Looks bad on everyone. get another career then you slacker.

Your situation sounds EXACTLY like my boyfriends right now. He has a million projects going on right now... All of the projects are in different States, just non-stop work... workers not coming through, clients getting pissed out. I don't even like talking to him anymore lol. He's so stressed with work, he's being an ass to me!

but its like that as a buissness owner/entreprenuer

i find the time to get all my meals in and work out 2-3 tmes a day though so I cant complain

I used to work 60-80 hours a week with tons of pressure to impress partners or to keep things afloat when I opened my own firm. I used to live for the weekends. I always took lunches with a SO and frequently packed wines, cheeses, etc and ate them in the square in Cincy or on the rooftop overlooking the city. That was my sanity. Now, I work during the day doing errands and stuff for the family, but it doesn't fill up my entire day. I thank God every night that I'm not under that sort of pressure anymore.

I want to start purchasing debt portfolios and manage them from a home office. That way I can stay sort of part time and still make some $$$.

Actually, sounds kinda cool. I'm a fire/medic and we are ALWAYS understaffed and getting our asses kicked. It sux. I usually work on the ambulance. I feel sorry for our fire guys. They actually get more sleep than I do because I mostly respond to medical calls and they mostly respond to fires. I go to a TON more calls.... but when they get a fire, they get their asses handed to them.

We havent had a good fire in a while. It has been atleast 3 months.

Its fun to see someone in the same field, Hang in there.
