the gf mentioned an autopsy on ntbm, which fits with an untimely death, its usually automatic
perhaps there is a delay due to that

and perhaps the funeral is somewhere else close to family..idk, idk the particulars of where his family lived

my niece passed away in FL but the funeral was in Ct, all the obit stuff was in Ct..

its not that SB, I believe it because of his FB page.... I don't see a net prank going that far where family could see it and be upset by it

I think seeing the obit would solidify it..make it less surreal and help people understand the details better (not that an obit generally has details)
