Faced with too few physicians, California offers free medical school

Lol I live In Fontana And as long as you stay north of foothill west of Sierra it's not thuggish or redneckish

On a somewhat related note, the area around UC Riverside used to have one of the nations highest probabilities for Sexual assault (both ghey and straight), so chances are that woman will not finish her education unharmed.

We're about to add another tier to "chase the money" -- the concierge tier. Doctors will do their residencies on BarryCare patients. They'll be the human guinea pigs. Then the good ones will advance into private insurance practice. Then the best ones will advance once again to the concierge tier. At the concierge tier level, those docs won't even take insurance. They'll be cash up front.

You clearly 'get it'...while so many are blind.

That's a great deal!

1) Save $250,000 in med school costs

C) Lose ~$100,000 per year (or more) by staying in a rural area over five years

IX) Lose ~$300,000 per year by not specializing for career (let's say 30 years)

So...

+250,000
-100,000 x 5
-300,000 x 30
-------------
-9,250,000 Net

Sounds like a hell of a deal to me. That's the kind of math that got us BarryCare in the first place.

As usual, you nailed it.
