Can I take a simple carbohydrate gatorade drink for my first meal after slin shot?

I will be using humalog and starting at 4ius twice a day.I was wondering if I can drink like a gatorade with 32 grams of carbs along with some protein powder in it for my meal right after injection and then a complex carb and protein meal replacement drink and hour later.Or is it a must to eat complex carbs for your first meal imediately after injection?Please help.

I always went with a shake right after (dextrose and Isopure)....10 gms of carbs per IU and 50 gms of prot.....1.5 hours later I ate a clean complex carb and prot meal, usaully brown rice and chicken......

Yes I will be taking protein with the gatorade but my question is can I use simple carbohydrates with my first meal or do they have to be complex?My question is will simple carbs be the same as complex and serve the same purpose or does it have to be complex carbs.

i said it in another thread and ill say it again.. the carb intake on humalog is 7-10 grams acording to each person, AND you need to take in PURE dextrose in the right amounts right after the shot, then 15 minits later slam 55 grams of whey protien the rest of your plan seems ok..and i hope you got a gluclose meter...you want to walk that line of being in hypo and being fine while slin is active to not gain fat and get the most out of it..takeing 700mgs of R ALA 30 minits before the shot will help reduce fat to...were are all the knowlageble bros on here??and i the only one?? ive acualy ran slin many times..ive taken just about every drugs you can thing of that will make a person grow..and you got lil guys talkin about the big time useage on here...what a joke..
