Anyone here ever go to the training board?

No takers huh.

Talk the talk, but no walkie, walkie.

It might take a little longer than 3 hours to get a forum straightened out. Maybe more than 24. The point being that we finally have raised people's awareness to a problem, but the solution may take just as long to correct as it did to create. Perhaps longer.

Unless of course you have some magic pixie dust in your back pocket... then you could go sprinkle it all over the EF servers and save the day.

Participation, participation...

A lack of this often makes for a lack of motivation to post new topics. I know I don't post nearly as much as I used to. In fact I have a thread I'd like to intitiate that would be a great asset to everyone on EF, but I may as well post it on the C & C board if I want any discussion. Maybe I'll post it on both. Look for it within a week, it will be regarding functional anatomy and postural dysfunction. Ever wonder why your feet evert and the the outside of your heels wear out faster than the inside? Your hips. Lots of elbow pain from dips or nagging wrist pain? Your shoulders aren't where they're supposed to be. I'll address how the body has a "design state," and how to get all those joints where they're supposed to be so that you can achieve that. The benefits are almost too numerous to mention, but most of you are probably most interested in improved performance and elimination of chronic pain/injury.

Now, hopefully someone will actually read it.

Personally I get the training advice I need here... unfortunately most of you slobs don't work out.

But seriously, the training board was decent at one point, we had a lot of power lifters on there... but they bailed out... a bunch of them when to Iron Trybe when that whole debacle went down.. then others, like Spatts, went to their own smaller boards....

That rift took a lot of the peopel with them... kinda sucks.. but oh well, shit is finicky that way I guess.

Personally I'd like to see a training board with a strony body building focus and less of a power lifting focus.. Its not that I don't respect power lifters, but I lift for cosmetic reasons, not just to life raw poundage... i don't use shirts.. I don't do sets of 1... and I don't gain weight just for the sake of weight... ok now that I've pissed off every single PLer on C&C with all these stereotypes.. im gonna go hide now.

nothing wrong with that. and i think this is why we SHOULD have two different boards, one for pl and one for bb. but it should also be labeled that way. training board is too much of a catch-all for both sports
