There are always ways to help people. That's why the aas forums and the rest of the forums are still up.
The rules have all been discussed a million times and I honestly don't believe anyone doesnt know the rules. So when someone breaks the rules, they should be held responsible.
I've been scolded a million times because of my ranting in religious threads, even though I thought I was right, I stopped going there....over and done with
A mod / admin should say once that threads of a certain type are not acceptable, not 70 million times a week with 50 threads being locked and a few members timedout. If people followed the rules, I assure you we'd all be a lot happier.

I dont think you have to have respect for everyone. Thats kind of deluded. You can be civil though, as we are.
Regarding the rules...yes they should be followed. But they should be universal as well. Theres nothing wrong with religion threads, for instance. It doesnt matter which religion is being discussed. As long as it doesnt turn into a flame fest no ramifications should be necessary.
I also started off on the lifting board, but theres only so many threads you can read about the different ways to bench.
I read the AAS forum a lot because most of it is interesting, where as some of it makes me ashamed to be a human being. Thats usually reserved for when I see photos of someone then read about the doses they used.
