That doesn't make sense. If she was drunk, then alcohol did cause the wreck. Otherwise she may not have taken the car plus she may have had more control over the car plus she may not have sped.

Even with a suv, this can happen. Suv's now a days are very quick and powerfull, plus they still dont handle as well as a car. ITs all about how responsible and at the same time lucky kids can be. I remember many times when I was younger my friends and I doing crazy things. Driving home drunk and racing someone on the highway. We were lucky that no one got killed. So thats were luck plays into it too.

I was a teenager back then and though "ok whatever"

Now that I am older I look back and can say the exact thing this guy once said.
