fat loss eat less than BMR?

For a female wanting to get very cut.

Is that right? To lose fat, say in competition, you have to maintain a clean diet, but eat 400-500 calories BELOW your BMR?

So if you need 1400 cal to survive, then eat 900-950 per day?

Does this sound like a typical bodybuilder/fitness diet?

where can I get info on this?

MS?

Do you agree with that?

So In competition, if you want a defite of 500 calories, then you have to eat and burn right at your BMR, say if you weigh 140, then 1400 calories and then burn burn burn?

as long as you equal your BMR, then you shoud start to shred?

Its a little different than what we were told I know.

When it comes to getting on stage, everyone is different
Everyone's different when it comes to BMR as well. I was able to lose bf on more calories then everyone was telling me to have. I may have needed to go lower to get leaner (I'm not that lean), but I still did lose bf.

Just don't want to go TO low & slow the metabolism & risk losing the LBM.

According to MS

Running a 500 calorie deficit is for extreme dieting for bodybuilding shows.

I thought it was below BMR, but you say it should be below BMR AFTER adding BMR and Workout calories

So BMR + workout Calories < 500 = ripped?

MS said 500.

I don't really know for sure, thats why I'm posting.

sorry forget the formula its totally wrong

My Bad

When its all said and done it should be 500 LESS than BMR, what ever the heck that is...

How do you compute BMR? Is that when the doc hooks you up to a treadmill?

Well I guess I'm really showing how dumb I am.
