Will Heatherrae get post partum depression?

I hope not. Not even sure what it is. I was severely depressed when my girl was a baby and I wasn't sure why. I think it was the awesome responsibility of having to watch a newborn 24/7 and for about the first 5 or 6 months they have no personality. They are just a shitting, eating, crying machine.

If she has help, she'll actually be able to go out and do things, otherwise you can't do anything because you can never take your eye off of that child. I remember how hard it was.

I'm very happy for her, but I'm a realist. Maybe everything will be rosey and peachey for her, but lots of new parents have a tough time adjusting and had no idea just how hard it was going to be. It's especially tough to go it alone. I expect that her posting will decrease by 75%.
