still, i feel like someone who at least knows how chemicals interact with one another is a lot more qualified to speculate on the effects of drugs than someone with say, an exclusively liberal arts background. props on the degree, how did you decide to go from chem to law?

Marijuana is not addicting whatsoever, I can go cold turkey any time I want without any cravings...... why????? Because weed takes 15+ days to clear your system giving your body a steady release of the drug out of your blood. Unlike narcotics, ciggarettes, and alcohol which are depleted in about 1-3 days. Giving you a instant craving to bounce back and relapse.

anything in excess is bad. jesus fuckin christ. that comment about "any idiot can get a good job?". what kind of ignorant statement is that
really? any idiot can become a doctor or a ceo of a large company, or a president of a billion dollar mortgage lender?
Guys that make 250k- a mil + year? Yeah, those are some of the people i know that still toke up on the weekends regularly.

I got a double major in undergrad in chemistry and in psychology. I was deciding between med school and law school. I decided on law. In retrospect, I decided on law for bad reasons (I wanted to get out of school and start making money faster for one thing)nimbus said:

Honestly, though, an undergrad Chem degree doesn't really give me any more credibility to speak on the effects of drugs in the body than any other lay person. We did some drug tests on some invertebrates in microbiology labs, but that was about it.

I have smoked pot since, but once a yr just b/c and I would either puke or fall asleep.
Ok, then let me challenge you........quit and let me know if you're not jonesin in 2-3 days.
This I agree with I have smoked weed off and on since I was 16 never had a problem giving it up but then again I don't really think I have an addictive type personality.george_spellman said:
