What do others at the gym do that pisses you off?

There is this one guy who claims he is a power lifter, but never lifts anything more than 2-3''. Everyone laughs at this guy and people have tried to tell him he will get hurt but he thinks he is the shit. He was on the squat rack loaded up 5 45's on each side and proceeds to do shrugs. His shoulders barley moved. Then he left the fucking weights on the bar!! I wish we could ban dumb people.
 
People that grunt and scream when they aren't lifting that much, or even alot. Actually a grunt is acceptable, but don't do that shit to get my attention. Shut the fuck up, do it and be done. Also, I hate it when people throw their weights down after a set. A controlled drop is fine, and not throwing. If someone throws their goddamn dumbell and it bounces by my knee I'm going to cut their eyelids off and feed them nothing but sleeping pills.

There's a couple guys at my gym that do that, I think they are testing the "don't drop the weights or your membership will be terminated" rule.
 
Those who use their cellphone inside the weight area .. those who exagerrate their workouts - dude you're curling the 10's you don't need to huff and puff and walk around like you just went through Navy Seals training

I'm afraid at how packed the gym's going to be. People's new years resolutions are to get back into the gym....for a week and then stop going. This is gonna be hell.

It's funny, the busiest days of week at the gym are mondays and tuesdays. These people should just buy a bowflex if they're gonna come in once or twice per week just to workout.

Guys who stand inside the dip rack chatting with their personal trainer between sets instead of stepping-out of the way, letting me crank-out my dips, and move on.

We seem to have this one personal trainer chick in our gym who's big on "resting on the machine". I avoid virtually all the machines, but we do cross paths on the dip rack.
 
Focus on your workout. Who cares what other people are doing?

Get in the gym. .train hard. . and leave. There shouldn't be any time for observing other people.

just because the 10's arnt a big deal for you do esnt mean it isnt alot of work for someone else. you may grunt curling the 50's, but for someone that isnt as strong as you but still tries to push their limits they feel it necessary to grunt with the 10's.
 
I hate it when your working the cables and some little douche who looks like he lifts cans of soup for a work out wants to butt in a do a quick set. Well that’s fine, but then you say yes and he changes your whole set up and they tells you he’s got a few more sets. Oh I could fucking kill this little shit. Also have some respect and unload your weights and put up your dumbbells. I don’t mind most of the time but when I have to clear out 3 sets of dumbbells to use a bench it pisses me off. I got better stuff to do then pick up your shit. If you can lift it off the rack you can put it back. :evil: :evil: :evil:
