URGENT! Flesh Eating Bacteria From Foriegn Gear!!

ok guys heres the dateline: i just woke up and my mother told me that a couple local powerlifters had broken there legs over the weekend. this isnt a large area, so i thought it was funny. so i go get the paper and a blurb in the back says they were using 'bootleg' steriods, and it appeared that strep A had got into the injection site on the inside, and when they started lifting there leg just broke.

it was 3 loose buddies all using the same type of gear. right now they are fighting for at least the leg.

so then i head down to a cop carry out around here, where the owner is a friend of my dad, a sheriff had been told by a DEA agent that it was what passed as steriods from a third world country. i imagine theyll run some tests on the juice to see if it came from there, but right now thats all i know. i cannot imagine how 3 guys got this at the same time if not for the steriods. the link is a big one.

this isnt a joke. i figured id say something about it so if your going to start on some foreign gear, you may want to give it awhile. ill try to figure out the brand in the meantime.

There was a link to a photo on here recently where a guy was changing his bandage on his thigh and had a deep gaping open wound showing the red flesh and it was attributed to an abcess. My friend's brother had flesh-eating disease and showed me the pictures and that is exactly how it looked. Except he had open wounds at more than one site. I forget if the huge open wounds were after surgical removal or were a sympton of the disease. Just thought I'd pass it on for what it is worth.

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to put something like that into a bottle of gear... or with really unsanitary conditions...

What do broken bones have to do with flesh eating disease?

As far as I know, flesh eating disease very rapidly, and very painfuly, consumes subcutaneous dermis tissue - not muscle and never bone.

I'm familiar with symptoms of Necrotizing Fasciitis (Flesh Eating disease) but never heard of any symptoms including broken bones.
