Then again , what's been going on after the hurricane is that bus drivers ahave been skipping people of color. There was a report on XM that some dudes actually put a gun to a bus drivers head and FORCED him to drive black folks to Houston...

Once again , the busses would have done nothing in that short of time and wouldn't have gooten the people who needed it anyway

Nagins did not implement the cities evacuation plan.Yes he told everyone to get out blah blah blah.......they knew people would not be able to get out of the city from a previous storm a few years ago that just missed NO.

The blame game should start with Nagins then to Blanco imo

They were questioned about that and they repotred no rapes...

The press also reported cholera in the water.
later testing has shown of no signs of cholera

even if people were raped there is no reason to leave people behind based on skin color.

Every single city in the US has an evacuation plan. Coastal cities are even more stringent on planning for disasters such as this.

All they had to do was follow the standard common sense procedure that has been in place for many, many years. One of the main points in the Official Evac Plan for N.O. is to utilize all the school and city buses to evacuate those without transportation.

People were stranded in Houston too trying to evacuate... Luckily they didn't get hit by Rita when it was catagory 5
