Tuna hold the mayo

I think the best bread is Trader Joe's Whole wheat.....only like a buck sixty and doesn't turn to mush in your mouth....

Great deal....

Unfortunately the closed TJ's is 150 miles from my house, so the wifey and I buy like 8-10 loafs at a time and need to freeze them...

I got so tired of tuna and low fat mayo, I've tried it many other ways. Here is a good one, and healthy, too. This adds fiber and complex carbs. Net carbs added are very low:

Crumble tuna in bowl. Add chopped onion, chopped raw baby (or regular) spinach, chopped sun dried tomatoes (squeeze oil out first) and a couple tablespoons of a favorite salad dressing. (I tried it with low fat Italian, very good!) Toss everything together. Eat with a slice of whole wheat flatbread.

The sundreid tomatoes are high in fiber and licopene, which has been shown to reduce prostate cancer in men. I learned to like them for these reasons. Raw spinach is high in vitamins, minerals and fiber.

I typically eat tuna sandwiches mixing the tuna with low-fat mayo and sweet relish...

I would like to stay away from the carbs (bread) and fat (mayo)....

I've tried it straight outa the can and can tolerate it, but was wondering how everyone else eats their tuna (no pun intended).

I mix it with Spicy Mustard...

It's definately an acquired taste, but it's good once you get use to it!
