Man few years ago you could say whatever the fuck you wanted to on these baords, no one cared as long as you didn't go too far out of line. Right after 9/11 the "T head" word was extremyl common and no one said shit about it, people are entitled to their own opinions just so long as no one hear is being personally and directly attacked, or it doesn't get too far out of line, who the hell cares. People need to grow a pair and stop taking offence to what someone on an internet CHAT BOARD says, the real world doesn't work that way, don't see people policing each other everytime a remark like that is said, if that were the truth Id witness countless arrests each day. Banning over somethig this stupid is just ridiculous, go ahead and look down on him, dissasociate with him if you want, but really, he can say what he wants, and knowing that it was triggered by some terrible event, stoip being such cencor nazis about everything.

To wrap it up and also address the "why was he banned in the first place" questions...

The "curling" handle has unhappy associations here -- before the banning I got messages from members who never before agreed on anything, all condemning what they saw as "hate speech."

We also have members who feel they were personally singled out for abuse, and it's unfair to them if we disregard that. So, it's part of the deal that the Curling handle stays dead.
