From the pics I saw of Troy at the Ontario's and in the Muscle-Tech ads he didn't really make me go 'wow' or anything. I mean he looked great and all but just not a freak like I like. For instance, Mike Mchugh is a freaky bodybuilder..he's doing the Ontario's this year and should have a really good chance at taking them.
De Silva was freaky from what I hear. I've seen a few pics of him and he was very thick and muscle was very mature. He's VERY good for a Canadian bodybuilder.
Had I of never gotten injured, I probably would have beed competing nationally this year. My plan was to do the Ontario's in 2000 and then the nationals in 2002. I think i would have cracked the top ten in the heavyweights weighing in at around 215-220, and quite possible could have cracked the top six and maybe better. The thing about me is my structure is well put together and my conditioning is always freaky. My muscle maturity is good and muscularity is very good as well. I'm the type of guy to flex and muscle pops out where as some guys looks good standing there but when they hit the poses not too much really happens. My one major flaw was thickness, and that comes with age. I was told by one of the higher up judges back at the Eastern's that I was the most conditioned athlete she had seen in awhile in a lower level show but to compete nationally I would need more thickness to be a serious threat. Well I was only 21 at the time so go figure.
For this show if I make it to it, my arms shoudler and legs will be freaky as ever. That I can guarentee. Hams and calves have been brought up as they were slight week points before. The only things off may be my back and chest, for obvious reasons.
