Someone please explain how Zimmerman can be tried by the Fed?

lol whatever you say Senator.

FYI pls research what "Double Jeopardy" protects against.

From wiki:

Double jeopardy is a procedural defence that forbids a defendant from being tried again on the same charges following a legitimate acquittal or conviction.

Zimmerman's already suing NBC for defamation of character. He's got to make some money off this ordeal. It's not interesting enough for the usual book/movie deal.

Thats the one reason I hope the Martin family files a civil suit; to prevent Zimmerman from profiting off of this ordeal via a book deal. I'm sure well see him as a Fox analyst/contributor a year from now.

I know - I just dont think that SD realizes that Holder isnt thinking about charging Zimmerman with the same crime he was just found not guilty of.

Obviously there will be a countersuit and Zimmy will sue for legal costs and Twinkie money if he wins again.

All the juicy stuff that didn't make into the first trial will certainly make it into the civil suit.

Then again all the stuff about Trayvon being a drug using thug certainly will too.

The US court system is among the worst in the world for recovering court costs. It's a fucked-up mess.

Obviously he isnt charging with murder2, yes I know that. The issue is if the FBI has cleared of any racial bias, then why is holder threatening charging zimmy with a crime involving racial bias?

We always hear of "the spirit of the law".

dont you think the spirit of the constitution as it applies to double jeapordy applies here?

But again, I think its a shit idea and the government would probably lose the case.

PS you guys gotta stop yelling "unconstitutional" at everything you dont agree with.
