For me, I think it’s my macro split at 40% carbs that lets me eat between 1200-1300 cals and still feel good. Plus don’t forget I also do have my off-program fixes every so often that tends to even everything out. I’m sure your body will slowly adjust as well – I’ve had those days when I wonder if I should be driving either!! :goof:

True!!! Yeah I am trying to remember why I'm doing this and enjoy it while it's happening!

Rooney, do you think that the off days allow you to eat so low the rest of the week without seeing any negatives from eating so little and training so hard?

I think so! Put it this way...I can now get away with having off days every 2-3 weeks because I eat well and train hard all the other time. Also, even though it seems like I'm eating so low, it's still 10-12 x my bodyweight and I never go below 1200 cals. It seems to be working so far and this is what it took for me to finally drop weight. But I was thinking of doing some carb cycling in a few weeks just to shake everything up a bit. I don’t want my body to get too used to anything.

I'm curious because I'm thinking of trying the same sort of approach.

How is your energy on this plan?

My energy level is great on this plan! I attribute it to the 40% carbs though more than my calorie level. It also took a while to figure out what combo of foods kept me full. I still keep my complex carb levels on the low side during the week and add about 50-60g to my carb intake with fruit and veggies.

Slept in till 8am again this morning and it felt great! I think my body needed the rest since I normally wake up like clockwork around 6am.

I am also easing up on cardio this week because 1) the guy I do my plyo routines with is on vacation 2) I’m letting my body rest a little after accustoming it to cardio 5-6 times a week for the last few months.
