A tad better ...but still on the tired and achy side. Thanks for asking, Fly Girl! :rose: I did make it up at 5:45am to sleep walk to the gym again, but felt like I could only give my spinning class 75% instead of the usual 100%. But on the up side, at least I got out of bed for morning cardio instead of sleeping in an extra 2 hrs.

I'm seeing my chiropractor this evening to get adjusted so I'm hoping that will help with some of the aches and soreness.

I know I don't come close to training like some of the ladies here, but am wondering if I'm being hit by overtraining syndrome and if my body is just spent?

I feel better after being adjusted by the chiropractor this evening. She seems to think my workouts are a little aggressive for my body :rolleyes:

Scale weight: 119lbs

6:15am: AM Cardio
55 mins spinning class


9am:
1 cup Kashi Go Lean cereal
2 tbsp milled flax
½ cup vanilla soy milk mixed with ½ cup liquid egg whites

11:45pm:
Grilled chicken wrap
- ½ Flat Out Lite tortilla
- 4 oz diced chicken breast
- broccoli, eggplant, onions, mushrooms, zucchini and hot peppers
- hot sauce
1/4 apple

2pm:
Grilled chicken wrap
- ½ Flat Out Lite tortilla
- 2 oz diced chicken breast
- broccoli, eggplant, onions, mushrooms, zucchini and hot peppers
- hot sauce
¼ apple

4pm:
1 banana
15 almonds

7:30pm: Lower Body Workout

45 degree leg press:
4 x 12 with sled + 140lbs – full rep + added quarter rep at bottom

Smith Machine (squat rack was taken!):
4 x 15 with bar + 50 lbs – wide slow sumo squats

Leg Extension:
4 x 12 with 50lbs – full rep + alternated added quarter rep at bottom and top

Lying leg Curl:
4 x 12 with 40lbs

Hyper Extensions:
4 x 12 holding 8lb med ball


8:40pm:
PWO shake – 1 scoop ON whey mixed with water

10pm:
Ground turkey melt
- 4 oz ground turkey
- diced onions, tomatoes and tri-color peppers
- cumin, cayenne pepper and hot sauce to season
- ½ slice Lite Swiss Cheese
Large salad – greens, cucumbers, tri-color peppers, baby tomatoes, onions and hot banana peppers with lemon juice/cayenne pepper/black pepper as dressing

Totals: ~1260 cals (144g carbs, 148g protein, 28g fat)
Macros: 40c/42p/18f

:lmao: My thought exactly. In fact, I raised an eyebrow and had a stupid look on my face when I read that! lol

- you're doing FINE. If you need a break. Take one - a couple 3 days off the weights never hurt anyone. :)

8:15am:

Noon:

½ cup strawberries

2:30pm:
Grilled chicken wrap
- ½ Flat Out Lite tortilla
- 2 oz diced chicken breast

½ cup strawberries

4:15pm:
1 banana
15 almonds

Had plans to work out this evening (upper body & cardio), but cell phone suddenly stopped working this afternoon. I’m traveling tomorrow so I had to make sure I got to a Cingular store to get a replacement. Of course, I didn’t have phone insurance so basically they were kind enough to give me a dinky loaner. Was tired and hungry by the time all this was resolved, especially since I had to beat traffic to get there before the store closed after work :worried:

7pm:
Tofu pudding
- 20 oz lite tofu
- ¾ cup sliced strawberries
- 1.5 tbsp Walden Farms chocolate syrup

9:15pm:
4 oz broiled tilapia
Salad - salad greens, cucumbers, tri-color peppers, baby tomatoes, onions and hot banana peppers with lemon juice/cayenne pepper/black pepper as dressing

Totals: ~1235 cals (138g carbs, 135g protein, 25g fat)
Macros: 42c/41p/17f

Actually, the lite tofu I buy here is pre-packaged and pre-cooked already. I just get the silky soft textured kind that is meant for desserts and shakes. Do you have access to that? I would imagine any pre-packaged or boiled/steamed tofu can be put through the blender with strawberries to get a similar effect.

Fri, May 19th

Day off! I’m heading out today to Chicago for a weekend getaway. :dance2: I’m hanging out with my brother and friends who I haven’t seen in a while. So I’m going to be off program for the rest of the weekend and also give my body some rest from working out. I know I will be bloated to high heavens when I get back after all the :martini: and :RADAR but hopefully it’ll be worth it!

I’ll get right back to my workouts and clean eating on Monday. I feel like I really need this break.

Scale weight: 116.5lbs

9am:
Blackberry protein waffles
- ½ cup blended oatmeal
- ½ cup blackberries
- ½ cup egg whites
- 1 scoop vanilla whey


Travel foods:
Cliff /South Beach meal replacement bars, Vanilla soy milk cartons, almonds, apples
