zander thanks man and polish ill def consult with you on more variations.. my back feels very refreshed.... weird because it seems such a dangerous exercise in the beginning

Thursday - August 26

I had to change my workout because worked out in foreign gym

Flat Bench Press
135 x ...
225 x 3
245 x 1
285 x 1 - with slight assist, the spotter was not familiar with me slowing down at sticking point so he put a finger on it... I wont count it
285 x 0 - got halfway and got stuck
225 x 5

Pullups/Chinups
bw x ....
Chinup: +45 x 9!!! (+2 reps) - last had slight assist
Pullup: +35 x 6 - too tired by now

SkullCrushers: 95 x 2 x 10
Dips: 3 x 10
 
I would do more sets on bench. Something like this:

225x3 245x1 285x1 245x3 250x3 255x3 260x3

I know that max effort of 285 was hell, but rest up and force those other sets in.

Heavy sets of 3 do wonders for increasing strength.
 
I know man but I felt so discouraged at that point that I just did 225 and went on to other shit.... I dont get why certain people think that once you are stuck for a sec on a sticking point then its going to fall down on your chest and crush it.... fucking commerical gym spotters
 
Great bench. You're definately getting a lot stronger. Regular training days with the other guys is definately going to be of great assistance. I'm super-jealous, you know!
 
You gotta keep our competition in mind broly... you must beat me.... whatever it takes...

I hate that. You have to give explicit directions to them:

"I want to get this on my own, so don't help me unless I tell you too.. yada yada yada".

I prefer my power rack - I try really hard to lockout because it's kind of a pain to get out of my rack.

You're not far behind me. I got 4 reps with 275 on flat bench.
